What’s in the tour package?
When in Cebu don’t miss the opportunity not only to visit the historical sites such as the Magellan Shrine where the famous “Battle of Mactan” took place, but also to visit and get a rare chance to see the different masters of eskrima an indigenous Filipino Martial Art dominated by the intrepid Cebuano people. Learn more of the martial heritage of the Cebuanos by visiting archaelogical sites that once spawned eskrima such as Mandaue City’s “Bantayan sa Hari” (watchtower), Fort San Pedro, Alcoy Balwartes (bastions), Daang Lungod and Oslob Baltwartes and many more. This is indeed a once in a lifetime experience for all Martial Arts enthusiast to pay homage and embark on a pilgrimage and cultural assimilation to Cebu, the Mecca of Eskrima and the capital of the Filipino Martial Arts.

The Cebu Eskrima Society assure you that you will be accompanied in the safety and security of professional English speaking tour guides who are at the same time experts in the art of eskrima that have undergone training in bodyguard work. What’s in store with visit to the masters?
The visit to the different eskrima masters will not last more than 1 hour for each club/gym and the guest will be shown a demonstration of the techniques of each individual club with a minimum fee of an hourly rate of US$ 10.00 per guest. These club visits are designed to enable the advanced and novice students of eskrima to get a glimpse of a wide spectrum of eskrima styles in Cebu City that will aid him in picking his style of choice should he pursue later to study eskrima extensively.
How to get here?
The tourist is responsible for travel arrangement from his origin to up to the entry point in Cebu. If you wish us to make the hotel reservations for you, please let us know one month ahead of your schedule. Airport pick-up can be arranged with your hotel of choice. Our responsibility as your guide will commence upon your pick-up at the hotel where you will be staying in Cebu. You will be provided with the different hotel rates on the links available on this page.
